A letter from December 27th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I’m proud of you kid. you’ve come a long way. I hope you’re still doing as well as you were during 2020. It was a hard year for everyone on a global scale but it was a great year for you on a personal scale. You grew up. You made better decisions in life. You became a better person. You stopped being depressed. You broke old habits. You broke the chain of generational trauma. You stopped feeling lonely even when you were alone. You gave less of yourself to the world but more of yourself to you. You healed. You found inner peace. You learned that everyone makes mistakes (including yourself) and that was/is okay. You surpassed the hardest part of growing pains. You found yourself. You learned to love you in ways you never did. You learned to live in the now. You learned to be you. Love, Your younger self. Ps.
