A letter from December 26th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Merry Christmas! It's my first Christmas away from home this year. It's different. It's lonely. I've had loads of time to myself and my thoughts, and well, been working quite a bit. Social media hasn't been the best place to be this holiday season but it's the only thing I find myself doing with so much time to myself. So here we are. Well I hope your Christmas is going much better than mine is. I mean it's not too bad, but it's lonely for sure. There's still a lot of confusion about where I'm going to be in the next few years, so it's a bit stressful. I hope you're in a good place, hopefully surrounded by people you care about in a lovely apartment with a nice tree with lights and wonderful smells and all that sappy ****, and laughing. That's what happiness is to me at this moment anyway. Or what I wish I were doing. Love, A
