1-It felt Romantic-

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

It felt romantic, which made me uncomfortable. We looked like a couple. The waiter definitely seemed to think we were. "This is the VIP area," he told me as he handed us our menus, with his grin and his Italian accent. What a ******* cliche. I was embarrassed. It doesn't matter what we really were. We looked like a couple. If I insist it's casual at this point, I'm either the oblivious girl who can't tell that the guy she's ******* clearly has feelings, or I'm the girl with feelings, who can't tell that the guy she's ******* is playing her. But it didn't matter what we looked like. I just kept reminding myself that if he wasn't catching feelings, and I knew I wasn't watching feelings, then it was all fine. After all, if you're going to fall madly in love with the person you're having casual *** with, not going out for meals together isn't what's going to prevent it. Plus, you can tell when someone has a crush on you; They laugh at every joke you make, whether it's funny or not. They let you talk forever and they listen, not out of politeness, but because they really care about everything you're saying. They look for excuses to talk to you when you're not seeing each other. That's what Anna did. But then again, Anna didn't feel the need to hide that she liked me, she thought I felt the same way, she thought we were going to fall in love, and she was a girl. If that makes a difference. Henry doesn't do any of those things. Don't get me wrong, he's nice. But that's about it. He cares the way a friend cares. And, if I'm honest, he laughs more at his own jokes than mine. Ella didn't seem persuaded when I told her, though. She thinks the Italian place means he's catching feelings. Sometimes I wonder if she's right but that wonder doesn't usually last. I know him, I'm the one who's hanging out with him and the only evidence he might like me as more than a casual **** is the dates. But he doesn't like me, he likes romance. It could be any other girl.
