A letter from December 23rd, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear future self, Right now as I am writing this letter it is 12:19 pm on 12/23/2020. Right now I'm feeling ok since I'm going to go shopping with Jess before her shift. I am excited since it's the last day of school till break. I don't have a ton of plans but I am more excited to take a break from school. I have been thinking about various things lately. I am thinking about next year and all my goals I already am setting. I also am thinking about my school assignment I have to complete. At home I have been sleeping and watching Netflix a ton. I sit there and watch the office over and over, sadly netflix is taking it off of their site. Right now I am trying to watch the office over and over since I will not get a chance in 2021. In 2021, I have some hopes and dreams for myself. Firstly, I want to be able to compete in 5k and 10k once those are back up and running since they keep getting cancelled and I want to break my mile time. I also want to begin studying for the SAT since right now I do not study every single day and I think I need to get more time in. I also want to go outside on walks more with my dog since it is really relaxing and clears my mind. I want to remember all the memories I had quartining with my sister Jess and my other siblings since it really was a blast since I picked up some new hobbies like sewing which I find to be a valuable skill to have. I also want to remember all the things I tried to do over the summer. I learned many new skills and picked up hobbies like running long distance and biking. All these activities were super fun and I am happy I got the chance to try something new. Sincerely, Abigail Polyanskiy
