A letter from December 23rd, 2020

Time Travelled — about 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, (YOU CAN ONLY READ THIS LETTER AFTER YOU GRADUATE MEDICAL SCHOOL) Dear Future Me , Today I am feeling great and I am writing this letter to you in my 5th period class at 4C and I am technically in the 9th grade.Word on the streets is that I want to either be a cardiothoracic surgeon , a neurosurgeon , a trauma surgeon , or a general surgeon. Yes of course I know that I will be going through a lot of schooling which I am not prepared for yet , but I will eventually get prepared once I have done all my research. At this point right now I only have two colleges suggested for me , which is UGA and Emory University. But this letter is not about what I am planning right now laughing out loud.Future me I just want to let you know that I am proud of your success and how much you have accomplished, even though through the journey you may have failed but you took the failures as encouragement to get back up and work harder , not only did you not give up but you was patient.I thank you for better ourselves over the years and I am proud at how much we have grown.I guess watching Grey’s Anatomy has payed off you are going to be a excellent surgeon. And one day your going to be a famous surgeon who has found a cure to any diseases that may be life threatening to others. Sincerely, 9th grade Tamara
