Dear FutureMe,
Life is very tough right now. We are living in the peak of a pandemic. Mum and Dad have contracted COVID-19. We have to walk around the house with gloves and a mask. I don't think I've worn a mask before 2020. It's crazy how many of us thought this year would be the best of our lives, planning holidays late last year, getting ready to spend our big 18s having the times of our lives. It's quite sad to reflect on the fact that this milestone age has been spend rotting alone at home. I have barely seen my friends this year. School closed in March and A Levels were cancelled. Out of all the years in A Level history, we have been the only ones not required to do it. The first half of this year seems so distant. I don't care to reflect on it because it was actually very traumatic.
This year has been the craziest year I have witnessed. It's nearly ending but not much has changed since the beginning, and if it has, it's gotten worse. Many countries have now closed their borders from the UK.
I have started university but I have no clue what's going on so I'm just raw dogging it to be honest. I'm not sure where I'll be 5 years from now but I hope it's better than now, even if it's by a little bit.
