A letter from December 19th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Don’t forget grief is just love with no place to go. Embrace it knowing all the time you spent together wasn’t wasted. Love yourself. That’s the most important. You must have a positive mindset so you can get through everything. Mr. Stretchers was the BEST cat so don’t ever forget him. Try not to hurt too bad. Someday you might see him again. Keep working hard because it will pay off in future financial freedom. People will come and go in your life. Let them leave. When one door shuts another opens. Hopefully I’ve had progress in working on not being an *** when I’m overwhelmed. Say what you think before it’s too late and don’t double guess yourself. Embrace the pain. Don’t try to numb it. Cry when you need to cry. Meet someone new. Go outside more. Draw. Swim. Do what you love. Love is the whole purpose of our existence. Give love even when they don’t deserve it. Remember everyone has different perspectives so don’t get upset when someone doesn’t understand you. Take a deep breath and endure patience because everything is temporary. Make the most out of the present. That’s the only thing you can control. Stretch. Take deep breaths. Go on walks. Don’t forget to eat those veggies and enjoy that yummy fruit. Plans change. Go with the flow. Things are a lot easier that way. But don’t let people push you over or take advantage of your kindness. Keep your kindness no matter what you go through. That’s what helps keep your heart happy. Help others. You love doing that. Make time for you. Alone time is important but don’t forget to enjoy the time your spending with a loved one. I love you. Don’t worry about who doesn’t love you. The right people will love you and then you can give love back since you already love yourself. Everything is connected. Look at the bigger picture so you don’t get caught up in life’s problems. Keep your peace.
