A letter from December 18th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I am 18 and miserable. I am the most useless person right now I am a highschool drop out with no passion or ambition at all I don't know what I am gonna be or what I wanna be but I want you to know that all I need to become the person I wanna be is still inside me and nothing can ever change that you gotta work hard you gotta keep trying even if u fail cause otherwise you'll just be a burden on others and you wouldn't be able to love yourself or look at yourself proudly only by working hard and by keep trying no matter what happens I can be happy. Do not let others tell you that there is something that you love but you can't do cause I know u can you know the most precious thing in life is? It's passion life has its meaning as long as you have something to strive for don't give it up. I hope you are a strong independent woman who does what she wants and doesn't care about what other people say she's brave kind giving and hopeful. I don't know if in the next five years I am gonna change terribly or what but I want you to know that I suffered alot mostly nobody was there for me who really understood me I have had days when I was a lifeless body on a bed in depression but I had days when I was truly happy with my fav people and then Corona hit and took away all thoose things but I didn't feel despair sure I miss all the good stuff but I became really grateful for whatever I have please always remember to look at thoose who don't even have what you have cuz also remember that materialistic things can only give happiness momentarily don't get obsessed with things what is really important it's freedom it's happiness it's passion it's joy it's hobbies it's everything that you live for please don't fall in love and make yourself a slave to another human but instead remember love is part of life it's not life it's not everything so even if u lose someone you love let them go cuz life goes on with or without them also nothing is unachievable you just have to think about what are you willing to give up for it if you are willing to give it your all you have have have to believe in yourself cuz nobody else would do that for you you have to have to haveeeee tooooo love yourself despite other people loving you are not you are precious you are important you are unique you got all the art inside you all the imagination inside you that makes even the impossible possible so don't worry always stay tough cuz everything happens for a reason even if you don't understand why it happened RN you will understand it when time comes cuz believe me if there is something I learned in covid that even bad things can give you good life lessons I learned to be greatful I learned to not throw my life away I learned that it's worth something I am worth something and if I keep treating myself like I don't then ill just be a burden on thoose around me I wish you the best please do what you must but don't forget yourself don't forget to be a better human being kind compassionate imaginative and happy be yourself also don't cover yourself up with thick makeup layers always look the most natural. Also I was a spoiled lazy childish kid but I hope in future I am more sensible. I love you myself and hope you do good cuz I believe in you
