A letter from December 17th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, what's your advice at this age for: should u continue to talk to a person who you've told that u have feelings for them/a crush on them and they said they don't know what u are to them, or they suggest just going with the flow? they might be genuinely confused but you're leaving the other person guessing and giving them false hope, maybe? just tell them if you're only looking for friendship or smth like that..? I'm very interested to know your thoughts even though I won't be able to know them _now_
