A letter from December 16th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, The past few years have been extremely hard. Losing my best friend to meningitis along with my mother to cancer. Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer but I will fight his battle with him. He will be healed in Jesus name the time this letter reaches me. September 13 was the worst day for me and I was in a head on collision in a major car accident. I faught hard and even though I can't quite see the silver lining yet I will. I had four major surgeries and a helicopter ride that I will never remember. I just got out of rehab during this pandemic. I cant walk yet but in five years this will all be a blur. This letter will reach me when all my dreams will come true. I will be a kick *** trauma counselor In a trauma unit hospital. YOU did it ash!!!!!! You got your masters and finished the Psy D. I will have helped so many people and be completely healed from my traumas and losses. I cant walk at the moment but when this reaches me I will be running..... running to achieve more in life. Loving my beautiful children and husband scott. Never giving up. Helping heal others so they never have to feel so alone and depressed like I have. I love you future Ash!!!!! You made it!!! You truly are a fighter.
