Find Your Dream and Live It Baby

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I am writing to you today with the future in mind. I have been struggling thinking about what I really want to do with my life. It took four years of hard work (and money lol) to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene and actually become a licensed RDH. I am sitting here thinking about when I decided that this was what I wanted to do. I really don't think I thought too much into it.. I mean I thought it sounded great. Turns out, I'm really not sure if that is what I want to do. With student loan payments right around the corner, I know getting my first 'real' job is in the near future. I'm not sure where it will be, but I know it's coming. By the time you get this, I'm sure you will be laughing reading past you talking about starting a new job. I know that this is just the beginning, but I really freaking hope you got somethings figured out lol. I hope that you found what makes you happy and have been pursuing it with all your heart. You better be grinding girl, I'm counting on you!! I hope that you finally realize that your life is not worth wasting away living to please others. While I'm writing this, I really can see my future self. And let me tell you, you are a bad ***. I know that you have been stuck inside walls and boundaries, but I hope that you finally decided to set yourself free. I hope that you have found the career that makes you feel happy. Whether it be DH or not. I really hope you have found it and are thriving with it. I hope that the anxious unhappiness that I feel today writing this to you has disappeared, leaving nothing but joy and excitement for how far you have come. I am rooting for you. B.
