A letter from December 10th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey it’s me but from 5 years ago how crazy. I don’t know where to start but it’s the 10th of December 2020, started doing a Carpentry Apprenticeship in April, almost chrissy holiday’s which i’m super stoked for in need of a break! but what job are you doing now hopefully in the same industry? To start off exciting, i started dating my best friend on the 15th of November 2020, and it’s been the best thing to happen, he’s my soulmate and my whole world, couldnt’ve asked for anything better. I wanna give him the whole world he has my heart for sure! I moved out with jas & krystian and it’s been really great, Jas one of the most kind hearted people i’ve ever met & it’s been one of the biggest blessing to have her around. But i applied for a house with Lach hoping to move in with him before Christmas break! And just about to by my first ute, 2005 Triton which i’m super keen for, then start to buy some tools! This year’s been really hard, especially on my mental health, i lost my family at one point and almost lost all my friends, Abul, Jaci, Jas & Lach and been here through it all and i’m forever grateful for and beyond blessed! But i ended up in hospital 2 months ago and was in and out 3 times and was back and forth for 2 weeks with a viral hepatitis, i lost myself and never felt lower, i tried to OD on the 7th October (not to mention that was the second time this year the other one being on the 7th April) and put myself in more pain and let myself fall so low and lose myself. How is my favourite sweethart Lach? Is your job still working out? Surely you have a trailer by now? Are you and Jas doing okay? What about Abul & Jaci? How’s your mental health? Keep your head up everyday, i pray it gets better and easier, i pray in the future your happier than ever! Never settle for anything less, you deserve so much more than you get! - Rebecca 2020
