Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Well, happy 18th birthday! How does it feel to be an adult in the big wide world now? I bet it's so overwhelming. Heck, you might not even be alive, but who knows. I'm hoping that this gets through to you, because maybe you forget to check your email all the time like I do right now. Have you made new friends? Lost any? Do you still self deprecate? Feel depressed? How's High School going, you're a senior by now, yes? Unless you dropped out. Gosh, if you did your parents must be so disappointed in you. I know they'd be disappointed in me if I dropped out of my current school. Wow. Have you been diagnosed with any other mental illnesses? Are you getting them treated? I hope you are. Well, if you are still alive and have decided to go to college, then congratulations! You made it through this hellhole of a world and managed to make it to college. I hope you love whatever school you picked. Just know, that even if I don't know how you're doing right now, I'm so proud of you. :) Sincerely, PastYou
