A letter from December 5th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi. It’s December 5, 2020. 15 days after my 12th birthday. How are you? You’re 5 years older, but still. You can’t be much different, right? Let’s compare. I’ll ask some questions, and we both answer them. How about that? What are your favorite things? My answers: Anime- JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Hobbies- Drawing anime stuff, exercise, playing minecraft Things that I own- The Jotaro earrings that I got from the mall last week, My iPad, and the Fazbear Frights books (I have books 1-4) Other things- Jotakak, sleeping, Japan, Citrus twist ice cream That was a long answer. ****. What’s your height? My answer: Last time I checked, I was 145cm (4”9). How long is your hair? My answer: Just until my shoulders. What are you doing right now? My answer: Sitting on the futon next to my bed writing this. Rafael came back like 30 minutes ago with an absolutely RIDICULOUS haircut. Oh, yeah. Riane’s here too. In this portion of the letter I’ll talk about myself. You know, because I literally don’t know anything about you. I’ll also talk about who I want (or wanted) you to be, and ask you about it I guess. Anyway, I’m quite happy right now. Still happy that I fixed my mindset. Still happy I’m actually enjoying working out. I almost have abs right now (AND YOU BETTER HAVE ABS RIGHT NOW TOO, ばかやろ!) How are you? Are you dead? Do you still like anime? Oh, yeah, and please don’t be dead. Especially from suicide or something stupid like that. Anything but suicide, actually. That would mean you broke, and you gave up. That’s stupid. Don’t be stupid. I don’t know how to transition from this, haha. So I’ll just move on. I’m self-teaching myself japanese right now. Watching anime, listening to japanese radio, and pointing out when I recognize a word or understand something in my head. I aim to be an animator, and to work on future animes in Japan, which is why I’m learning japanese. Even if you no longer want to be an animator anymore, or just don’t want to work in Japan, please continue learning Japanese. It’s a cool language and I just want to know how to speak it. I’m currently watching Kimetsu no Yaiba. Great anime, and the animation is amazing. I plan on getting Tanjiro earrings when I go to japan. I forgot to mention that I’m going to Japan again next Friday too. I’m really excited. I don’t know if you remember this, but mom kept telling me to show her my drawings and I’ll get my Visa to go to Japan. The other day, I showed her my drawings and the next day (yesterday) WE ACTUALLY GOT OUR VISAS. WHAT. Are you still skeptical that she made a deal with the devil or something? ‘Cause I am. I don’t know what to you ask, really. But I do hope you’re ok, or even better than me right now. I also REALLY hope you get better at drawing because I have art block right now and it sucks. I have it so often, I think it’s just my actual drawing skill. When I do manage to make a decent drawing, I honestly believe it’s just luck. I’m kinda bored right now, so I’ll just send an image file that represents my progress and how I am right now, so you can reflect from the future. I also sent the same thing to 1-year-older-me. https://imgur.com/a/VrA7GuG <- Gosh, I hope this doesn’t expire. I just realized, you’re probably near graduation right? Were you a foreign exchange student?! Did you study in Japan or America? Or both!? Are you studying there right now? Gosh, I hope you are. You might have already graduated too! I hope I studied more, yeah? Are you still friends with Kyroseptical, by the way? Probably not. But hopefully we are, I guess. I hope you still become an animator. I love anime so much. I- ok I don’t know what to say again, so I’ll just end the letter here. This is the end of my letter. Bye, noob.
