A letter from December 4th, 2020

Dear Mari :), It's the year 2020 as I'm writing this, it's been a quite a stressful year. We have this unknown disease called Corona-virus. Due to that, we've had multiple lock-downs and so many restrictions. This caused so many problems in the world; losing money, losing jobs, economy problems, etc. But that's only what has happened in the world, what about myself? As for now as I'm writing this, there is a factor of things running around me. I'm 13 and I'm learning to understand the meaning and hidden messages of the so called 'life'. In the last three years, I've felt complected and lost. I was supposed to be living gracefully in a castle by the time I was 16. I guess that's never going to happen. I wish by the time that I read this letter in the next, who knows, 5 years? In the next 5 years, that I'll finally feel the real happiness that you bring in movies. I wish that I'll be finally be able to express my emotions and know how to control them. As I'm learning how to control my emotions now, I do hope that it does get better in the next 5 years. I have a lot of goals this year. My dreams to be a better writer, my dreams to do better in school and my dream to get my voice heard. By the time I read this letter, I hope that I achieved the goals that I want. I hope to believe that there is a reason to life and that we are all beautiful in our own ways. I hope that by the time I read this I understand that society isn't nice to anyone and that you'll have to do hard work to know that we all are different. It may take time, but I believe that I will try to achieve these goals. I do want to take this time to thank everyone in my life. Who knows, maybe in the next five years I may not get to thank everyone who has stayed beside me every minute. So, here I am saying, Thank you. I'm not an affectionate person towards my family, so I think that it's best if I say it here. I'm really thankful for my family, and I loved everything they've done for me. I may be a pain but I hope that they'll always be my side. I love them so much, so thank you. Past the years, I do have some interesting people who encountered in my life for the last two years, Ariv, Toria, Ociana, Jizabel, Katherine, Lucas, Jamal and Michelle. Also the people who've I've known since primary, Shreya and ******. Then I have the insane friends I made this year, Ahana, Kashvi, Saaleha, Adiva, Shriya and Rachel. There would be more to include but I personally feel like that these people have made a bigger impact on my life and that they deserve to be here. I do hope that we will always stay together and if we don't I do wish them all the best. I hope that they know that I will always love and support them no matter what.
