A letter from November 28th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear 21-year-old FutureMe, Right now you are sad. You are hollow. You are betrayed, replaceable, unloved, and unlovable. You are broken and depressed and tired of screwing up. My life is hell. You have to fight procrastination and temptation. You have to fight your insecurities about your awkwardness, weight, looks, personality, and race. You have to fight to maintain borderline grades while being overwhelmed with schoolwork. And of course you have to fight the suicidal thoughts of just ending it all. But you are stuck with me and we will see how far we can get. Can I ask how are you doing? Have you found genuine friends who like you for who you are? Have you found an environment where people in general like u and you can party/relax? Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend? What about your future job? I know personally I am praying for something that at least pays decently with your weakass skill set. I am also praying your family is alright and you are in a better place. Sincerely, Me 11/27/2020
