A letter from November 23rd, 2020

I'm finding it weird to believe that when I read this next I'll be a young adult. like, 20 years old? jesus. but hey anyway, I'm 100% sure you're fluent in German by now. hell maybe you don't even live in Germany anymore. well I'll give you the rundown of what's happening now. it's 2.43am as I'm writing this (hopefully you got your sleep schedule sorted out) on a Monday and i have 3 tests this week and a physics presentation that I have to do by myself in front of 28 people or so. incase you're wondering, the tests are in politics, German and somethin else I forgot (I REALLY hope that's different now). im hoping I haven't broken my promise with amie, i srsly love her alot and yeah yeah yeah teenage love laugh at me now (or maybe if you're with her then show her this). Evan bought weed from luc and we're kinda scared about what to do and we think we'll just try to respectfully ignore him for a while (no we're not jus like lovely good teens, hes just not listening to what we're saying to him when we try to convince him that he's kinda sorta ****** up his life and he jus keeps saying "ye it's all good im fine with dying young ahaha") but if all goes well we cud have that sorted in a couple of weeks. i hope that by now you have a slightly more advanced music setup, right now I have a scarlett 2i2 solo 3rd gen (I think), a squier bullet mustang hh, Asus tuf gaming laptop, and I wanna get an akai lpk25 midi keyboard for Christmas. maybe you've got a couple more guitars, that'd be really cool!! u still enjoying the 1975? they're probably my favourite band right now along with slipknot, bears in trees (it's also crazy to think that they might be super famous by now!!), deviloof, korn, etc obviously you can see from the date (in case u can't for some reason, its the 23rd of November) that I'm in the ****** time of C O V I D. sigh. i sorta understand that a second lockdown would frick up the economy again but they could just take scenario b for a couple months and we won't just be in a loop!! But as clichés go ur probably cringing right now at my ever-growing self awareness, and I'll say this and this about how i thought I knew what to expect about how I'd think in the future. are you in one of the music unis? im thinking of either goin to Hannover or Hamburg, but **** im still really gonna have to learn my **** for school to get good marks. all threes preferably! cmon now. im half working on remastering Travel (which has definitely undoubtedly gone platinum by now) and it's not bad! meh I'm sort of indifferent to the new mv I made for as long as we remember but hey hey. and then I made a new song called she said we'd run away (forgot to mention earlier that I really like the musician shrimp too). it's funny because I can imagine, if I'm somehow a bit popular by 20 and I read this then people will think the same way as they do for most famous people lookin back at how they were at a younger age, but if there is some sort of audience in front of you, tell them that I'm super personal and happy to talk to any of them, depending on my level of popularity thst might not ring as true now but I really hope I'm trying to make an effort to talk to as many fans as possible (right now I have 7 followers on bandcamp and 5 on soundcloud, most of which are friends but I still thank them!!). I don't really know what else to say so hopefully I'm not forgetting anything. i just overall hope you're doing well in life and mentally. and text ur mum. bye :') im writing with a bit of a heavy heart for some reason, maybe it's bc ik ill look back at a 5 year younger version of myself and think a very certain way. that or I haven't changed. oh and I'm talkin to American kat rn after like 5 months of... not doing that. she's doin well too by the sounds of it. bye for real this time (finish ur homework now).
