A letter from November 21st, 2020

Dear FutureMe, It’s November 21, 2020. I’m laying in the bed of my first NYC apartment which I’m moving out of next weekend. Crazy how time flies. I’m writing this because i just got an email from myself from 2010 when I was a junior in high school! So thought I’d do another one. This year has been a **** show. Covid took over our lives back in March and things will never be the same. Donald trump finally got voted out of office and we now have president elect Joe Biden!!! It has been a stressful but transformative year. I feel better about my friend relationships than i ever have before in my life. I feel better about the relationship with myself than i ever have in my life. I’m moving in to a studio apartment next weekend in Gramercy. Excited and nervous for this new chapter. I wonder where I’ll be in 5 years when i get this. Perhaps married? Hopefully in a fulfilling job. Hopefully with friends and family still healthy, happy and close by. I guess time will tell! To end I’ll say... hello future me, from past you! I’m proud of you, wherever you are I’m sure you’ll be doing what’s meant for you. ❤️
