A letter from November 10th, 2020

Dear Future Me, I hope your well and doing great? Its been 5 years I know a lot must have happened by now. 5 years ago I know you were a mum and had a beautiful son name Joseph, I wonder if you have anymore children because you were an incredible mum. I know you believed in praying and that prayer is the key to all things! your belief was when you pray God, God hears you no matter how small or big the prayer is. I hope that still is your belief because it encouraged many people, even me. I remember your moral was 'I hope I treat people the way I want to be treated.' That moral was a fantastic moral because you always treated people well, always kind and helpful to others and was always putting people before your self, really hope your still like that. I know your enjoying your wonderful business, it was owning a record label right? yes that's right I remember you wanted to own your own Gospel Record Label because that was all you ever wanted, which was to have something different, something that no one has ever done before, you always use to think BIG! and I loved that about you. Gospel music was one of you skills you used to love singing Gospel really hope you haven't changed that. Your voice was amazing, its properly got even better I bet. Your goals, yes your goals I know you had quite a few. I know you were saying your goal was to finish university and go straight to do an internship in a record label so you have an idea of how record labels are run, but then you were saying in your finally year of BIMM you thought about doing a masters in Music Business after you graduate to get the knowledge and understanding of how a business is actually run especially in the music industry. I really hope you achieved your goals! Esther please tell me you have stopped being hard on yourself and I hope small little things don't get you down or annoy you as much as they use to. That thing you use to do, comparing yourself to others hope that habit has stopped I hated it because everyone paths in life are different, so I hope your the best you can be which is Esther! Your continuing to do your best right? The Esther I knew always picked herself up and no matter what life threw at you, she would always carry one. You were the person that never gave up no matter what you went through and that inspired me to never give up too. I'm hoping that's still the Esther I knew and loved! I really hope you've started focusing on yourself more. it was good to focus on others too but I never liked when you never cared about yourself, self care is key remember. Always smile Esther no matter what. Don't let nothing or no one bring you down. Remember your amazing don't forget that! Lots of Love Esther x
