A letter from November 4th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hello, future Nicki. I'm writing this to you as a college freshman currently majoring in Psychology. In 5 years, you would have graduated from college. Just wanted to check up on you if you continued on this path. Are we going to Med school or have you shifted to another course entirely? Whatever you decide, I hope that it makes you happy. I admit that I'm still unsure of being in Psychology and if it's the right choice for us (I mean, if it weren't for the virus, we'd be in Marine Biology right now) I hope that you're still motivated and that you're continuing to do your best. I promise that I'm trying to do the same because I know whatever I do now affects you lol. I wish that I could be able to see your response even though that's practically impossible. Kinda weird that your younger self would be giving you advice, but maybe you need to hear this. What I like about us is no matter how down in the dumps and hopeless we feel, we always manage to get back up on our feet and I hope you don't forget that. Can't wait to see the person I've become!
