A letter from November 3rd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I love you so much. I hope that you are living the life you have always wanted and that you are surrounded with people that bring out the true you. People that highlight your intelligence, your humour, your compassion and kindness and your unique and empathetic self. If times are tough when you read this just know things will get better. Don’t let society and it’s cruel expectations and influences dim the light that shines so brightly within you. Try your hardest always, make not just your friends and family proud but also your self. Fuel your body with nurturing food, writing, music, art and laughs and never forget how much you are loved. I hope that whatever you’re doing makes you so happy, makes you think and question the world around you and your internal world. I am so happy right now and I hope you are too. I love my family so much and I feel at peace with myself for the first time in a very long time. This morning joshu and I drove to Brunswick and watched the sunrise where we laughed and smiled. I love you so much and I hope that you love yourself too. I hope, so so much that your light is shining ever so bright and that whatever you’re doing in life is amazing and making you happy.
