A letter from October 30th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi ani, yay it’s a day before Halloween, wow...I can’t believe your finally 18, I wouldn’t be surprised if your not alive rn, but please make it, you have so many ambitions and 13 year old you believes in you, even if she doesn’t believe in herself right now. I have so many questions for you, but first...are you happy? Will you ever be happy? Because at the moment I have a feeling I will never actually feel happy again, my life is messed up and the only positivity in my life are my friends (only three of them) the rest of them are all bïtches now so yay for me. Ok so now with the questions, Do you still want to be a lawyer? Did you pick if you want to be a criminal or business lawyer yet? Have you made it to uni or does that happen next year? Which uni are you going to go to? Did you get into to Yale, Harvard or just any uni which is not anywhere near London? Are you still friends with Angie, your bets friend? Has your heart been broken yet (hopefully not)? Have you had a bf yet? Have you made it past all those stupid exams? Are you still obsessed with starting a business? Have you moved to the US yet? Moved alone especially? Are you pretty yet? Do you feel pretty? I hope you do... Also are you still obsessed with gossip girl because you better be, I bet you’re living the Blair Waldorf life right now. Well, see you in 5 years, I hope that you’ll be going out for Halloween tomorrow, since right now Halloween has been cancelled in the uk. Hopefully you still have this email so you’ll get this letter, but I guess there is a reason I have put it on public, so at least someone one day will read this and know what my dreams and problems were.
