Dear FutureMe,
no matter where you are and no matter what you do, I hope you will remember your starting point.
You are humble,... you want to help and care for your friends. You worry about them a lot. You worry about your parents. You are someone who aspires to inspire people. You want to inspire children to do better and pursue their dreams as back then, in 9th grade, there was a boy being happy and overjoyed to own a painting of yours. You want to make the future a better place with your art and design. Never forget that.
You realized that happiness is not about the money you earn. There will never be enough success to make a person happy. Thus, how much success is enough? So, just live in the moment. Thinking back, the moment I was happiest, was sitting in the garden with my friends, drinking and laughing together about nonsense. We forgot who we are and lived in the moment. Another moment would be, making my parents happy and proud. I hope you realize that they are in fact happy for you. So, don't ever forget them.
I love my career. I love the thrill of working on projects with potential. I love the thrill of creating something big and the possibilities it creates. Never forget the joy you felt back then, today, 5 years ago... The time when your first dream came true - becoming a children's book illustrator.
Don't forget who you are.
Yours,
Nana
