A letter from October 29th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, There is nothing I can say that changes who you are at this moment. I know who I am now. But I do not know who you are. For me, that is ok. I want you to remember that you were once in pain, and yet you survived. You overcame adversity, not by overthinking, by overwilling, or overdoing. But by being. Existing. As the universe is. Wherever you are today reading this, I cannot know what you think and feel, what has happened between now and then. I can know that I am apart of you. As driven, loving, and hopeful as you always were. I hope you have learned to love deeper, shared more thoughts vocally, expressed yourself visually, conquered your fears of failure, and found solace in your mind and spirit rather than what others think and feel about you. You are the chalice. The wine. And the message. Love,
