A letter from October 28th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Destiny, You have officially been on hormones for 1 month and you have been an emotional wreck. You have been dealing with so much transphobia that it has started to have an effect on your mental health, but I need you to remember that these hard days are what allow you to have the good days you’re having now. You are and have always been a beautiful woman. Regardless of how many surgeries or how much you blend into normal society. You are allowed to be loved and feel beautiful, no matter how many people want to take that away from you. I hope this Destiny is thankful for old Destiny because all these hardships have molded you into the beautiful, strong, and brave woman you are today. All those tears shed were worth it. Every ounce of pain you felt was necessary. Continue to love yourself, as much as old Destiny wish she could.
