A letter from October 25th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi, how are you? Please tell me you’re out of Michigan. Hopefully enjoying life and not worrying; living life to the fullest and just finally letting go. Are you doing something you love? Or at least on track to do something you love? If not, why? We’ve always been a dreamer so why not make those dreams into a reality? I saw go for it. Whatever it is, just go for it. Do we talk to dad anymore? Mom? Jessica? How’s Nick? He’s probably finishing up his mandatory time in the navy soon. Are we still friends with Abby and Lisa? Or did we just kinda fall out of touch as we got older? Either way do we have a good group of friends? I hope so. I’m applying to college right now and am terrified; where did we end up going? Whatever you’re doing and wherever you are I’m so ******* proud of us for making it there. Like so ******* proud. I never thought I’d live to be 17 let alone 22 so it’s insane. You better have gotten a tattoo too *****.
