A letter from October 24th, 2020

Time Travelling — about 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, HEYYY. Its Courtney from 5 years ago. 20 years bro. You are so strong. Life right now isn't really how I want it. I need a job, money to buy what i want. Lol i don't even have an ID. Right now 15 me is laying down RETYPING this letter to you because I accidentally deleted the other one and idk how, on my school laptop in my green shirt and grey sweat pants with Camille at 3 watching you tube at 1914 w Lexington street on October 24th 2020, a day after dads birthday. Omg I clicked something just now and thought i deleted it again LMAO. But anyways, remember to LIVE. LIVE YOUR LIFE. you are 20 years old. young and free. I believe that you are living your life, traveling, doing what makes you happy! Don't worry about what other people are saying. Buy that new car, do WHATEVER. Check on your family, take care of yourself. Make new friends. If your friend group is acting funny, get new ones. Set up traveling activities with friends and family. If you are not in college yet, don't rush. Do part time college. Do your research on it because you still need time to do you. TRAVEL!! AND MAKE POST CARDS. Go to LA, New York, where ever you want. If you want him, get him. I believe that you will be or find that special someone to fulfill your romance dream. Chase the money not these boys! Only chase the one you really think is worth it. If your life isn't going well, do something about it. find a job, move back with mom or whoever and save up to get on track. If you don't like something about yourself just save enough to **fix it**. But I believe that all my current 15 year old insecurities will go away. But please please don't go down the wrong road. Tell mom and dad and siblings and other family that you love them because soon it's going to be their time. And I know that it is going to break you because your so emotional but you will be OK. If you lost someone, just take one day to grieve them. And take your parents and siblings to wherever they want. You have 20 years until you are 40 and trust me they are going to go by fast. Live your life while your young! And then when you hit 40, focus on your dream career helping out and saving lives and taking care of your beautiful children and family. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. BE HAPPY. BE YOU. And if you haven't gotten that nose job, get it!!! I know we're scared of the end, but just trust in God. Thank him for the blessings you received. Be good, not evil. And be nice, not mean and bitter. Wipe your tear love. I know this is going to be hard. Just trust the process of life. I know you wish you could just stay young forever but nah. But just appreciate that you made it just far. Write another letter for 25 year you or whatever. Take this day to look back. Visit grandma. Visit the family house. If you haven't already, dig up the time capsule at grandmas house. I think that covers everything. I am so proud of you Courtney. And i love you so much. See you in 5 years. LIVE!!!!!! - sincerely, You, 15 year old Courtney Benjamin chilling at home.
