A letter from October 22nd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I hope that when you receive this you are alive and healthy unless COVID got to you first or your stupidity. I have no idea what to say to Isabelle in 5 years, but I'm sure that whatever you're doing or wherever you are, you're happy and satisfied with your life(unless your demons caught up with you). Currently, it is 11 pm and I got this strange idea from tik tok (not sure if I'll still be on it by then but that app was ****** awesome). This year has been pretty unforgettable. For example, an almost outbreak of world war 3 between the middle east and USA, Australian and California wildfires, a pandemic that caused the world to shut down for months, Presidental debate(clowns), and even the Kardashian show being cancelled. Right now I have nothing figured out, and I am terrified of my future but I know that by the time I get this and have a good laugh and probably cry reading this, I'll have a couple things figured out. Maybe I'll have an amazing job that I love, I will definitely still be in school because let's face it I need a degree if I want to breathe, and maybe I'll meet a person that I love so much it hurts. For the last part I'm pretty sure the only way I'll find this love is if I go to some European country and meet a guy that looks like Harry Styles(not gonna happen sista). I know you're reading this and thinking times were much simpler back then and you wish you can turn back the clock, but listen to me...seize the most precious moments in your life. Don't be afraid of the world and of yourself, embrace everything and don't let that independent little mind of yours whither in weakness, you are too great for failure. I love you izzie, and I hope you know that. Now go out there and kick some *** you boss *****, and I hope you're taking advantage of that voice it's pretty powerul. Be safe, brave, and most importantly have fun(Kinda giving myself advice atm). LOve you ****:) P.S: If you're married or have a super hot boyfriend and no kids you did good. But if you popped out a kid, then I am sorry I have failed you. Those chances are slim though. You better look good in 5 years also, future dermatologist needs to set an example. I don't even know if that's my future career but whatever, a girl can dream. Goodbye for now, see you in 5 years. No peaking bish.........
