Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Sometimes I think there are moments where a gentle nudge in the right direction is all you need to turn things around in a day and make you that bit more positive in your life. I hope, and imagine, this will be one of them. Prepare yourself. There are always tough times and fun times, and to keep on the good side of life you need to make sure you seek out the better things and ensure positivity fills you. Go find your friends and ask how they are, go find something new to do/see/visit this weekend, and for goodness sakes call mum before she calls you. But also don't forget about the changes that need to be made, or be aware of the negative things. The last thing you want is for these to surprise you and really drag things down. Living in a new place, starting a new job - I've found this not to be as easy as I'd hoped. But at this moment in time don't expect this feeling to last, and hopefully post-Covid life will begin soon making everything better. Who knows if you're even still in Manchester?! I like it up here and I like this apartment, but I guess we'll see how it all looks later down the line. Hopefully I'll have my own place by then too...best get saving! I hope you're making more time for yourself leading a more productive life. There are times now when I can look at my piano and feel the dust settling on it - it's not a great feeling. But I just can't seem to do something about it. Have you figured it out yet? Who knows. I hope you've managed to settle down and have a bit more fulfilment though. Also, if you haven't joined a music/am dram society, and finally learnt that Pirates of the Caribbean medley I'm going to be really annoyed! Just saying. From PastMe.
