Dear FutureMe,
This is 19 year old you writing a letter to 24 year old you ( SO OLD ) during a PANDEMIC. Hopefully, by then the world will be in a much better place and not having to practice social distancing.
By the time you receive this, you would have graduate York with a Bachelor's Hons degree ( hopefully deans honor roll )! Currently, you may be working towards a PR or enrolled in graduate school.
In 2020, thinking of 2025 is unreal, seems so so so so far away , to think of all the things that would have changed by then makes me sad; new friends, people I would have lost touch with , people who are no longer in my life, and people who have died.
I hope looking back you have more things to be proud of than regret or even be proud of how you handled and learned from failure, I hope you have loved more, learned more, become stronger, a better person, more resilient. I hope you are someone your parents and loved ones can be proud of. If things aren't as good, don't lose hope. Remember if not anyone, you love yourself. Work hard, live life. Tell the people you love that you love them. Appreciate the little things in life.
