A letter from October 21st, 2020

Time Travelled — over 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Katherine, Hey, it's me, the past Katherine. It's June 2020 and I am 19 years old. It's tough right now. I can't seem to control my emotions and all I'm thinking about is suiciding. Can you do something for me? Promise me you'll be happy. If you're still not happy and you're just like me in the past, you can leave, I won't blame you. I know you're tired. I won't get upset. I'll understand you. Everyone will understand. ------- It's Wednesday 21 October 2020. I started volunteering, but I'm still sad. I think I know why I cry. Whenever I smile or show happiness I need to cry. So Katherine, in the future, you can leave. I won't blame you.
