Dear Mr. Hanson
Nice to meet you, its your past self, Peyton. Right now I’m sat at the desk Mark built us doing this Into to Business and Technology class assignment. Currently I'm not involved in much as you know, I spend most of my days trying to build up the motivation to work on my car or playing Mordhau. The only people I hangout with nowadays is Dylan Hughes, your best friend since 6th. Normally I go over to his house every weekend and him and I party hard as you know. Hopefully we’re still best friends and party even more now that we’re out from under Marks authoritarian grip. As of right now the classes I’m taking are: 1st is honors American ELA, 2nd is honors Human Anatomy, 3rd is animal biotechnology, and 4th is this class. I’m really looking forward to moving out and starting our life. I really hope I do end up welding for a living and living with Dylan, Jocelyn, and Bella in our flat.
In 5 years I hope to have my welding certification and be welding for some company or being the master welder at a fabrication shop. I hope our 1992 Dodge Stealth is still up and running (I’ll be pretty upset if you wrecked it), and hopefully by now we’ve saved up enough money to give it a pretty good sound system. I wouldn’t mind throwing some nitrous in it either. Relationship wise, I really don’t care, you do you. If in 5 years I feel ready for a serious relationship go for it. If not I wont really care, we’ve always been introverts anyways. Please do not have kids in 5 years. Again, please do not have kids in 5 years. Hopefully Dylan and our plan of renting out a house/flat and splitting the cost with Bella and Jocelyn has worked out and we’re still all good friends. If it has I already know that house is wild. I also already know we’re all “big chillin” as Dylan calls it.
Well this is kind of getting boring so I think now is a good time to close the letter. Hopefully when I read this again I’ll be laughing with Dylan (or a mystery girl) over how stupid I sound in this letter. Advice wise I don’t have much to say other than stop being so lazy and procrastinating, in Bill and Teds words “it is not most excellent”.
See you in 5 years,
Mr. Peyton Hanson
