Dear FutureMe,
Thank you for being you. I hope that you are still finding sunshine in the little things, and cherish those around you on your journey to a life’s commitment. I hope that by this time you’ve traveled and studied abroad, been immersed in other cultures, been to many concerts at the barricade, and discovered more about your beautiful self that you never knew were there!! How cool is it that you’re reading your own thoughts, 6 years ago? From the time you were a beautiful little freshman experiencing your first semester of college quarantining in AirBnBs only four weeks after the semester started. Wow. That’ll be a long time from now, but I’m sure you’ll remember.
I’ll be 24. Wow. By this time, you might just now have completed your doctorates program at UF, or who knows, you might have changed your mind completely and followed you heart. I’m so proud of you!!
According to the class you’re writing this paper for, What is The Good Life (IDS1161), your top core values at the moment are : searching for knowledge and truth, self-examination and understanding, understanding - helping - serving others, and personal growth and learning. May these characteristics never change. I love you so much, and cant wait for you to read this. (Actually I can, savor that beautiful life!!)
