A letter from September 20th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I wonder what you're doing when you're reading this. I hope you're okay. I'm not. I feel lost and I think I might be depressed. I hope this letter brings you joy so that when you read it, you might write another one for when your future self needs it. When you read this, I hope you're in a better world. One that's cleaner and one you can actually go outside in. I hope when you read this you can go outside and stare at the clouds or stars that we love so much. I hope that you're happy. I hope you smile when your old favourite songs come on, not cry like I'm doing now. I hope you no longer have to listen to sad songs to make you feel something and that you can talk to someone when you feel sad. Just remember, if the sun can rise every day then so can you. With love, your past self
