A letter from September 14th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Hi, Well I just sent this exact message to 2021 Ben, so have fun reading it again. Also, ****, 2025? It must be horrible seeing how fat, haggard, and grey you've become. Anyway, here it is: Apparently its been an entire year since I last wrote. Feels like just the other day I was (we were (lol)) sat in Duke writing that letter As you know, the whole Eleanor situation played out in the most predicable, and simultaneously worst possible way it could have. In fact the only way it drifted from what I predicted was that the abuse was on a much higher level than I'd anticipated Obviously it was also just an incredibly boring and disappointing year in general, and i was hoping that i could kinda make up for it a bit by really making the most of my final year of uni in terms of meeting new people and partying and all that, but with the ol virus situation that seems increasingly unlikely That said, I'm sure I'll / you'll have made the most of it in other ways I really want you to have done some new things, to at least make the most of the situation you're in, however dire it is with whatever the pandemic is doing for you I'm sending this for a year ahead from time of writing, so you're a that going to get this before the last message I sent, which is weird. Actually I'll send it to a year from now and also 5 years too But yeah, i guess I can't really tell you do stuff in third year cos obviously by the time you've read this you'll have already done it But like please have done things. Lol Yours sincerely Bent Fartin XOX
