A letter from September 13th, 2020

Hey, this is you from 5 years in the past. Neat, huh? Your baby girl should be 5 and a couple weeks old by now, and her first day of school will be right around the corner. How's she doing? Is she as cute now as she was then? I wont believe you if you tell me no. Does little one love learning as much as you? Did she learn to read really early like you did, or a little later on down the line? Does she enjoy playing chess with you, or does she find that kind of thing boring? Maybe she'll enjoy video games better, though we'll just have to see! What about your wife? Well, she will be your wife for a few years by this point. Right now, September 13, 2020, we are considering going to the courthouse and signing some papers or whatever, then having the actual wedding next year so we don't have to worry about expenses yet. How is she doing? Are her medicines helping her depression better than they have been? I really, really hope so, because the added postpartum is making her more miserable right now than she ever should be. How about you? I haven't forgotten about you. Have you gotten serious about doing coding, or did you become a mechanic like I begin to suspect I will? Fixing my car was far more fun than it should have been! 😅 Is keto working out? Did you get down to 180 like we planned?Also, are you working out? One of us has to be, and seeing as how I'm busy, maybe you should give it a go. As I write this, I sit on my couch, 4 wet diapers on my right, baby in arms because mommy stayed up all night so I could get some sleep for the first time in almost a week (This soy formula is good if she really does have galactosemia, but man, her poor stomach). Breath of the Wild is paused while I write this, and my peppermint herbal tea is cold because I forgot about it until now as I write it down. Anyway, I gotta go. Little one is waking up, probably because she needs her diaper changed. Hopefully you're having at least as much fun with life as I am! Sincerely, Me
