A letter from September 12th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hows it going? I’m not so good but is become normal. We’ve gotten much better over the past week. This pandemic well I hope that we are better. I hope that we’ve figured out the global warming crisis along with so many others. If I’m being honest, I don’t think we will have. Anyways on to you. Have you really found your sense of style yet. I hope so. What are the other new trends in fashion. I think I’ve gotten a good understanding of what I like now but I just don’t have the clothes I like in my closet. It bothers me but it really isn’t that bad. What about high school? Right now I just can’t even imagine myself there. But I know that I will get used to it. Wow change is so hard to imagine right now. Even though we have had so much of it lately. God there is so much. Who are your friends like best friends. I don’t have many now I mean my really only best friend is Emma Slovack. I do hope she is still our friend. I love her so much. OooOoh have we found anyone? Are we Amy different *********. I could possibly see it in me. Hmm. What about music. Right now I really like: #1= Cavetown (what new music does he have and is he doing well?), Claire Rosinkranz, Kate Bollinger, Wallows (pleaser), Matilda Mann, Conan Gray, Rex Orange County (that was mostly last summer tho) I listen to music a lot it is just my way of emotional output. The music just either gives me emotion if I need to cry or gives me a place to mouth all of the words and in turn, emotions out. Has life returned to normal? Do we still have to wear masks to school and get out temperatures taken in the morning and clean the desks and chairs after every class? I hope not. Do we use lockers again? Do we still have the quarantine bangs? I really love them on me right now. What classes are we in? This year I’m in Gym with Mr Combs (*vomits*), US history/social studies with Mrs Brooks, Power Lit/English with Mrs Carson, Pre AP Spanish with Mr Benefield, Algebra with Mr Roe, Science with Mrs Sollenberger, and I have Study hall with Carson too. Are you still doing Spanish and did it really help to do these classes and get the credits for them? Did I pass algebra because bro this is so hard I have a B+ in this class. IM TRYING SO HARD AAAGH! bah. What about college— no wait how is driving?? Omg I just want to be able to drive. It would be so convenient. What car did you get? It really isn’t that long till I drive only like less than 2 years to drive legally. Anyways back to college. I have no idea on where I want to go or what I want to do. Have you figured that out? Well there’s no use of this but for nostalgia and entertainment. I must get back to the present which isn’t so great. I’m impatient but I think that I can still wait to see what we become and to see how we mature.
