Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, The world is a mess. People are dying and everyone is fighting over trivial things. The big picture seems to be lost. No longer are we able to overlook the little things to focus on an end goal. People are rioting in the streets over the color of their skin and who they choose to love, but what they don't realize is that if they are fighting a corrupt world. In a corrupt world, you can say whatever you want, but no one will listen. They might nod their head, but when they go to bed at night they won't remember you. They will think about themselves, and what problems they have. Gone are the times of love, patriotism, and peace. We are in a new world where only hate, violence, and corruption live. I'm sure I sound dramatic, but in this world, people only see the bad. They see something trivial and turn it into a movement. I hope that in the future you are far away. Away from the world and the cage of your mind in which you have been enclosed. I hope you are able to share your thoughts and opinions without fear of persecution or even *****. In the future, I hope that the people realize that there is no real enemy until we all agree. I also hope it is brought to light that we will never fully agree, and that is ok. In the future, I hope you have made a difference that you are proud of. When I look out my window and see the chaos I just hope that the future is still coming.
