A letter from September 3rd, 2020

Dear FutureMe (and all of the people reading this, in the future cause I made this public! Hi!) Hey! I’ve written two letters already, but they’re all- well, you know, you’ve already read them by now. I’m thinking about writing a ton of these letters so you can open a lot more of them, but then where would the specialness go? Idk lmaoo Okay so you are 19 now? I think?? Yeah... you’re opening this September 3rd, 2025 (OR after. Who knows lmaoo) I hope the last few years of your childhood went well. I really hope you got into my dream college (uncw) but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t LOL. I hope I have some sort of pet by now? I hope mom and dad are doing great and I hope that everyone else I loge is doing good. But like obviously especially mom and dad. I hope your ***** anxiety has gotten better.... I am getting over my previous episode and I’m really proud of myself for it. I guess this is after the next election, and I hope AOC won!! Assuming socialism really IS good... but again, I’m 14. Right now my main group of friends are shelby, hali, and most of the cow boi cult. I wonder if we stuck to that yearly pinto bean tradition plan? (For y’all strangers reading this... long story. We read a book called seedfolks, pinto beans became symbolism for the curtis chapter in the book, printed out 1,000+ curtis’s and brought TONS of beans, almost got suspended (kinda), fun!) I think that tradition would be a good idea.. we don’t all get along now especially since we just started high school but I think it would be really neat and fun to have a truce day. I imagine a lot of people wouldn’t be interested in showing up, though. Anyway, I hope you’re doing really well with your life. I cant imagine you’ll ever fall into a bad social norm and forget what you’ve learned, but remember to love yourself. The only person you’re living for is you and God, and you don’t need to wear or act like anybody else except what YOU love and do the things YOU like to do. It’s kind of weird how I can email you, but you can’t email me, huh??! Anyways I wish you the best of luck and stay true to yourself, never settle unless absolutely needed, and don’t forget everything the world and God have taught you! Love u, Max (Makenzie)
