A letter from August 27th, 2020

Today you realized that you're helping with the Hire Black movement. You're engaging with people, being a shoulder and finding career growth to help people all while helping yourself to get the recognition you deserve. You're on the diversity council with some good ideas and you are moving forward with Paw little by little. You've had every strike against you, no authority to guide you, no success to emulate without associating it with lies or hate/pain. You've been in the world of *****, addiction, gangs, violence, theft, accidents, malicious actions and so much pain and morbidity it's a miracle your head doesn't fall off from all of it. You're SURROUNDED by people that have had everything happened to them. Even the more diverse individuals in the company had a family structure that YES we share in intensity but did NOT share in wealth... The fact that you even got your high school diploma is beyond reality, let alone a BS in a different language. You've lost friends, family, money, things and love. Yet here we are, past and present, looking to the future for good blessings and more sunshine through the dark clouds. Vlady I miss you and will never lose you. Thank you for everything you've gifted me and I'm truly sorry for everything that happened to you and for not being with your mom during all this time.....
