A letter from August 28th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Gevion, I am writing this letter in august 2020, in (hopefully) the tail end of the covid-19 pandemic. I dont know who you are, how you're doing, or even if you're still alive. Maybe you are, maybe not. I hope you carried on drawing. As of writing this you were doing it for just over a year. Things were looking good. Youre just about to move to the house near the ocean. I dont know how its going to be. You have no career prospects, or career ideas as of writing this letter. Hopefully you'll have figured that out by the time you read this. Im sorry i left you in such an aimless situation. Ever since leaving uni prematurely I haven't known what to do. I hope by the time you read this things are more obvious. I hope youre not drinking as much as I am now. This is a lot of rambling. Maybe you know how to write a letter better than me. I hope you still talk to Ed, Sam, Cam, Ally, and Jack. They're good people. For frame of reference - This letter is due to arrive in five years. When you recieve this, it will have been a decade since you joined Nottingham. I hope youre comfortable feeling old. Please do better than me, Gevion, circa 2020
