A letter from August 26th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Right now Hurricane Laura is about to make landfall between Texas and Louisiana. You are working remotely from home because of the Pandemic for local news station. You yearn for adventure and an amazing career with a wonderful loving spouse. You are a godmother... whatever that means. Who you were 5 years ago and who you are now... well a lot has happened and you are waiting impatiently on God to show up at the 11th hour to make everything ok. Expectations are: a renewed family, travel, a career you love and are good at that makes money...basically a miraculous skill/talent of some sort. You long for the days of the past, but pushing forward is what strength is all about and you hope you learn all your lessons while going through the trenches so you can be the person you were always meant to be. I hope in 5 years you've accomplished whatever it is you are meant to... it's not helpful because you are kinda directionless now but I have faith that in the future you'll find your solid ground again. May God bless you and may you always have childlike faith. God is in control... when we are in control it's never a good thing. Remember you are someone's shuggirl always and someone's "giiiiiirl" forever and Sparkee's best friend. Lord I pray for peace, joy, wisdom, and ultimate Christlike faith- even if it's packaged as a mustard seed. <3 <3 <3
