Dear FutureMe,
It is Aug of 2020 and life is crazy because of the COVID pandemic. Some people are scared and some are living life like nothing is happening. I am being as careful as possible but at the same time, we all have to live our lives. In five years I hope I will have gone to a trade school and landed a good-paying job. Maybe I will meet someone that is worth meeting. These teenage girls play too many games. In five years I will have a good job in a trade, maybe welding or machine tooling. Some mistakes I hope to avoid are getting in a serious relationship before I am ready, going into debt and not living my life for me. I can make sure not to make these mistakes by just being good friends, I can make a budget and save and I can make sure I do what makes me happy and still be there for my family and friends.
Remember you can do anything you set your mind to.
Best Wishes,
Your Past Self
