A letter from August 25th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, This year has been trying. We still live in this house (it's been 1 year and 1 month), that we hate but we need because if we weren't here we would be homeless again. We lost Choco on 8.8.2020, we tried to move but Chime stole our money and I think the attorney did too smh. Just, why? School went virtual and right now nothing is working right with that. I started school and I am going to pull my hair out. Lord please give me the strength, wisdom and guidance because I know there will be days when I will want to quit. I won't quit. I need to make a better life for me and my children. I need to show them that despite our situation you can still be strong and have hope. I won't give up because I want to show all of those that look down on me that I was worth it all along. I want my kids to think of me as their hero because I won't ever stop or stand still because of our circumstances. Just remember that God is good and you are blessed. Keep your head up, smile, you made it. Live your life to the fullest. Don't forget to laugh and more importantly don't forget to love. Sincerely, Yourpastself
