Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I made this letter exactly a week after you started college. With all this things happening today, this pandemic, earthquakes, tornadoes, wildfire, hunger, racism, endless ******* and everything else I don't know if the future will be more dangerous than it is today or it will be safer. I don't really know what the future brings but I hope everything will get better. So how are you doing in the last five years? Were you able to get the scholarship that we wanted? I hope you did. Were you able to graduate with a flying colour? I really hope you did. Are you a flight attendant right now or a runway model? Did you achieve everything we dream of?You're still young self, you're just twenty-two if you haven't achieve everything yet it's fine we have all the time in the world to do so. I hope you're happy self because I don't know how I feel, nothing makes me feel excited. Btw, how's mom? i hope she's doing fine. How 'bout our siblings? Are you spoiling lil bro? HAHAHAHA! I hope everyone is doing great. Self I just want to tell you that keep pursuing your dreams don't let anyone bring you down. Stand tall and walk pass everyone confidently but always remember when you achieve all your dreams and become successful DO NOT belittle anyone. Always remember that you're doing that to because you wanted to help other people. Did you remember the days when we see people that wasn't as lucky as we are,we cry? We cry, hoping and praying that if we have enough money to help we would? Did you remember the months when mom gives us our monthly allowance and we eat on a fastfood restaurant then take out a bag of foods then give it to the kids outside then all the money we have left is only enough for a week? We're not rich and we're still young that time.I hope you won't change. I hope you're still that kindhearted girl. I hope you all the success you dream of. I Love You :) - Lily 2020 ps. (lily) that's the meaning of your name in case you forgot :)
