A letter from August 15th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I am going to give my first ever Google online test tomorrow for the SWE Internship in Fall 2021. I hope I can ace it and turn my life around. We only need one chance to make it to the top and I feel this is the turning point in my life - if I manage to make something out of it. I am not nervous, I have practiced long and hard for this day, but I fear it still may not be enough. Right now I'm spending day and night working so that you can have what you do right now. I hope all this would have been worth it. Are you reading this from your desk at Google? Did we make it? If yes, I am ecstatic. If no, how come? Why hasn't it happened yet? Will it ever? Are you still working on it? Please do. I want to be able to realize the only dream I ever had. If you are successful in life, please don't forget or turn a blind eye towards the needy. You have seen the worst of the worst, you used to think you'd help people like that when you're able to. I hope you're able to do that. You wanted to learn the Piano, have you started? I hope life has given you time to do other things now. See you soon, Me
