A letter from August 12th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey Leslie, it’s me. Happy 18th birthday!!!! How are you? Are you happy? Do you have any gossip? Did you ever move on from your anime/ kpop “phase”, because I hope you don’t. I hope you’re living a life worth living! Right now I’m not doing so great mentally, I act fine to everybody but I don’t feel that way inside. I’m so sick of hiding because this persona I’ve made for myself. I feel like I’m drowning to get out of this sea full if fear that no one loves me, care about me or even knows im alive. Right know I’m in the dark reaching for a light that isn’t lit, I hope it gets lit up soon by someone or something and helps live a life worth living. I don’t know if I’ll ever show people the real me... but I hope that if you ever choose to move on from this you can be the person you want to be and live a good life from it!!! In the future do I have anyone who’s important to me? I mean my family is really important to me but, I’m taking about some who I really love? If so how are they like? Are they nice, mean, shy or outgoing? Maybe the future isn’t so bad, if it is then keep pushing through. Make sure you go by my life motto “live to learn.” Time will find a way to make things better, if you ever have any problems don’t be a coward and run away! Face the problem and learn from it. Well I should get going right know it’s currently 2:37 am and I wad feeling emotional like always an and decided to write you a letter. Sooo know I should say I Love You make sure you make good decisions and don’t let life put you down!!! Tell everyone I love them. Your’s truly, Leslie :)
