A letter from August 9th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi how are you? Are you okay? I hope you are! It’s currently 10:46pm when I started writing this. We’re 12 right now! You’ll be either 16 or 17 when you get this! Did you make it? I hope you did. Currently we live in a pandemic, life is scary and it hurts right now. How is our niece? Did our nephew survive birth? If so how are they? I’d love to know!! Currently I’m not doing good... I feel like crying everyday and tearing up but no one cares— please don’t tell me you relapsed and started cutting again.. We started cutting ourself in June because we felt like such a big let down... I’m crying as I right this. Is grandpa still alive? If so yay!! What are we studying in school or did you leave because it was too much for you? Please stay in school :( — it’s almost our birthday!! I’m so excited, I really want a new laptop and a drawing tablet but I think I’m bad at drawing :c— did we get this and the Nintendo switch I wanted ? Who do you like listening to? Did you get thinner?? I wanna be thin... I think a few people in my year laughed because I was a bit thicker... it really hurt my feelings :c Are you an An still best boos ? If so yay!! She’s really nice ^^ I don’t think she realises how much she makes me happy when I’m not okay, she’s always there for me and I want to be always there for her. What about you and Alan ? Are you two still together? He’s really nice so far but I’m a bit scared in case he just stops talking to me like jack...:( Are you and Grace still best friends? I know she mind hang around with that girl you hate but she’s been your best friend since you were 3– it’s been such a journey with her. I’m sorry if I do something wrong soon... it’s kind of hard to think straight for right now but You’re gonna still be alive at 16, right ?
