A letter from August 6th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi, this is 12 year-old you. I hope you have finally have happiness. I remember all those nights i cried having imaginary friends , because of the fake friends back at school , because of our parents , because of the life you had , wanting a better life with better parents. You will get through it . And lastly I hope you are no longer closeted and free with a loving boyfriend and still friends with the girls. I am sorry if it brings back hard memories reminding you of those names. If you are still friends , say hi to them for me , wouldya? Just know that I love you and that everything will get better! While you're at it please say hi to Ambra for me because I know she will be in England at the time. And at the age of you receiving this note, just know that you are close to freedom.
