A letter from July 19th, 2020

Time Travelled — about 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are the happiest you have been in your life. I hope you’re doing great things whether it would be a job that goes with your degree or your small business endeavor. I hope throughout the years since you wrote this letter, you became more confident in your body and who you are. I hope you’re anxiety and stress isn’t as bad as before. You’re writing this in the bathroom the day after you realized you current boyfriend laughs at depression like it’s a joke. But little did he know you were having an urge to **** yourself because you were done feeling so worthless. I hope you’re still alive today, pushing through like you always do. If you’re still with the same guy I hope he understands now how and why you get the way that you do. If not, then I hope you’re still thriving. I appreciate you for always pushing through because you wouldn’t be here right now if you didn’t. I hope your family is happy and thriving and I do hope you are able to give back to your parents like you have wanted since high school. Love life, always. Keep pushing, always. Yourself.
